Note

  • The specimen obtained must be legally obtained
  • Any living specimen must be prepared and shipped in accordance with the most recent edition of the Live Animals Regulations of the International Air Transport Association, regardless of the mode of transport, so as to safeguard the general well-being of the specimen and minimize the risk of injury to the specimen

Process Steps

Step 1

 The applicant collects an application form

Step 2

 The applicant pays the application fee, completes and submits the application form along with the supporting documents.

Step 3

  Submitted documents are reviewed by the Department of National Parks and Wildlife (Management Directorate)
Step 4

The applicant is then instructed to pay the processing fee if the application is approved.
Step 5 The applicant then pays the permit processing fees and is issued with a receipt, which is submitted to the Department of National Parks and Wildlife (Management Directorate).
Step 6 The Department of National Parks and Wildlife (Management Directorate) verifies the payment and issues the permit
Step 7 The applicant proceeds to collect the permit.
